A mail in repair service for the apple iPod Classic 6th & 7th Gen. Simply select the repair you would like completed from the drop down menu, then checkout. Once you have paid you will be sent an email with the ‘send to’ address. Please package the iPod appropriately and include your name and email on a piece of paper so i don’t get the package confused. Once i have received the package i will complete the repair as soon as possible and send you an email when it is done and ready to be sent back.
The shipping paid at checkout is the return shipping. You can calculate the cost of shipping to your address on the cart page. Please also consider the cost of shipping the iPod to me as it is not included in the price. Thanks

Please note: The ipod classic 6th gen can only read up to 128GB of memory and can not be upgraded any higher than that.
You can tell what generation yours is by looking at the model number In the iPod, just go settings > about > and the 3rd page will tell you.
6th gen model numbers start with: MB or BP
7th gen model number start with PC or MC
If you select the storage upgrade option, it will be upgraded using an iFlash adapter and a 3000mAh battery. If you want a larger storage capacity or custom housings and stuff i am able to do that too. Send me a message and we can organize for it although i may have to order the parts.
If you select battery replacement only it will just be using the standard 650mah battery.

PartsPlusPods helped me to upgrade my iPod Classic 7th gen with a better battery and flash memory. The service took just over a week which was during a time when PartsPlusPods had mentioned that there was a backlog from the Christmas/New Year break. I didn’t trust myself to do the upgrade myself and my iPod is too dear to me to take the risk.
I have now been using my upgraded iPod for a week since receiving it back and I’m very happy with the work done. The case does not look like it is opened but now with the storage upgrade, I can put all of my music plus my photos. There’s also no more clicking and whirring noises from the old physical hard drive. That noise used to stress me out as it would make me wonder how much longer my iPod would last. The new battery is also massive improvement. Now when I click skip repeatedly on shuffle all, there is no massive drain on the battery like there used to be.
I was a bit worried about the shipping as I was shipping it off to some unknown address and was unsure of how it was going to come back to me. I didn’t need to worry. The receiving address is a secure post office back and when it came back, the iPod was securely bubbled wrapped to ensure that no damage was done during delivery.
