Returns & Refunds/ Replacements

Change of mind returns:

If you change your mind you are able to return the item within 30 days of it being delivered. You are responsible for the return costs. If it has been longer than that we have the right to deny your return request.  

Arrived Faulty/ Damaged:

If your item has arrived in a faulty or damaged condition please send us a message here with a description of the issue. We may also ask for pictures of the damage. An item that arrived faulty or failed soon after arriving from standard use can be returned for up to 60 days after the item has been delivered. You can either return the item for a full refund, a repair or a replacement (if available) it is up to you. A return address will be provided and a full refund will be given. We will pay for the return costs.

Consumable items:

We will not allow for returns on consumable items (such as flux, thermal paste etc…) that have been used or opened in any way. In the case that a consumable item is faulty on arrival we are able to offer a refund or a replacement. If the product were to have any special requirements for use they will also be taken into consideration.

Warranty:

Unless otherwise stated, we do not offer any warranty on these items although you are able to return them for a refund, replacement or a repair following the conditions on this page if there is an issue.

User damage:

We do not accept returns for user damage and have the right to deny your return if this is the case.

App incompatibilities for ipods:

It is your responsibility to make sure the apps you would like to use are compatible before purchasing the product. You can use websites such as http://ios-compatible.com/ to check for app incompatibilities. If you are to return an item due to app incompatibilities it will count as a change of mind return. You are required to pay the return postage. We will not accept returns after 30 days of the item being delivered due to app incompatibilities.  

As we are an Australian Business we are obligated to comply with Australian Consumer Law.

Postage

We do not guarantee delivery by any specific date. Estimated delivery dates with Australia post and sendle can be very inaccurate and we do not want to promise something that is outside of our control.

Express Post:

The express post option will be sent with Australia post express post. Although again, we do not guarantee any specific dates.

Some of the lower cost, smaller items will be sent through the letter post. This option does not include tracking. Delivery times can be very unpredictable as well, anywhere from one to three weeks. I like to offer this as the cheapest tracked postage starts at around $6-9 (depending where you live) and most people are not willing to pay that to receive a small item such as a charging cable that itself only cost $5. If you want tracking on these items an express post option is also available.

In the case that your item does not arrive we are able to provide a full refund. Although please wait for a reasonable amount of time for the item to have been delivered. Please keep in mind that delivery date estimates given by Auspost and sendle are not always accurate. Packages can take up to a month to arrive even under normal circumstances (although this pretty extreme and would be a worst case). Unfortunately delivery times are out of our control.

During busy times:

Please keep in mind that the post will usually takes longer during busy times of the year such as during the Christmas season.  

For items sent by mail post:

Small low cost items that have been sent via the mail post do not include tracking. In the case that your item has not arrived please let us know. However we will ask for you to wait for an appropriate amount of time for the item to arrive before concluding that it has been lost. Be prepared to wait as long as one month. In the case that it has been lost either a full refund or a replacement will be given.

Cancelling Orders

Cancelling orders:

If you need to cancel an order for whatever reason please send us a message here. Assuming that the order has not been sent, a full refund will be given. Please note that the site may say awaiting postage even after the item has been sent due to this info having to be entered manually.

Although please keep in mind that if the order has already been posted we will not be able to cancel the order and provide a refund. Instead, you will have to wait for the item to be delivered and return it if you still wish to do so. Any return postage fees will be the buyer’s responsibility.

When we can cancel your order:

Reasons we may cancel an order:

  • Pricing error
  • Item was out of stock

If we have to cancel your order you will be refunded in full through the payment method that you used. We will let you know via email.

User Data

The information that we store is used for the purposes of buying items on this website and will not be sold to advertisers. 

We do not store any of your payment information such as credit card number. Credit card payments are processed through stripe. All of that data will go straight to them and is not stored in our database.
